Letterpress Rental

Love the art of letterpress , we are making our mid 1900's Chandler & Price Pilot Printing Press available to you.

STUDIO RENTAL: Tuesday thru Friday 12:00 PM- 6:00 PM (Additional options available upon request.)

COST: $100.00 (Minimum of 3 hr blocks @ $25/hour + $25 shop fee.) Shop fee is for ink, solvents and other expendable supplies needed for printing & equipment maintenance. Additional hours are +$25.

PRE-REQUISTES: Students will have completed the 101 Letterpress Workshop or have been pre-approved are eligible to rent press time.

STUDIO POLICIES:
Email to book your time slot in advance at workshop@vintageconcord.com. If you don’t receive confirmation by phone or email the reservation process hasn’t been completed.

We encourage pre-booking studio time as all requests are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Guests & Visitors must sign a waiver & are not allowed to touch any of the equipment or assist with cleaning of the equipment. 

STUDIO RULES:
Studio time includes press set-up & clean up. Please make sure to keep within your timeframe for other printers to begin using the space at their scheduled time slot. You are welcome to do preliminary work, as long as you’re not in the other printers way.

Feel free to bring paper of a different size, stock, or color. However, keep in mind that handmade paper is not allowed as it may damage the type.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
We can assist you in estimating how much time to allocate for your project and any additional paper, envelope or printing plates needs. (additional fees)

Vintage Concord’s WORKSHOP is a community space where respect & accountability is vital. You are responsible for leaving the space cleaner than you found it and reporting any equipment issues in writing to workshops@vintageconcord.com or on the board in the studio or at the front desk.

Cancellation Policy: Credit will be issued if you cancel within 72 hours of class. Last-minute cancellations will be handled on a case-by-case basis. If we have to cancel the class, you will receive a full refund!
